Hi, I’m Heather Taylor, RD, LD. I consider myself more than a dietitian who provides medical nutrition therapy. I am also certified in FirstLine Therapy and specialize in functional medicine approaches. I provide lab review and analysis using optimal health ranges instead of standard ranges allowing me to truly address underlying issues. I do not give disease specific recommendations for nutrition, but give functional recommendations. I take the time to fully address you as an entire person, not a disease or symptom. I recognize that you are not made up of separate systems but one whole system with interdependent parts that influence one another. I view health as a web where it is all connected. The reason you may have a disease or weight issue is most likely due to multiple metabolic imbalances, poor behavioral choices and other underlying dysfunction. I spend extensive time getting to know you in order to truly work towards correcting metabolic imbalances while addressing behaviors. Most of my consultations center around education, goal planning, action steps and barrier removal.
